I am off on a mtb trip (Nepal) in March and as we don’t have access to electricity every day I need a charger (for the nights we do have electric) and a power bank for the nights we do.

I will need to charge an iPhone, and bike batteries (not an e-bike but sram electronic gears, Fox neo dropper, Fox neo shock) - usb C and standard usb chargers, head torch etc. I will be taking spare bike batteries but like to be prepared

Any recommendations?

Thanks

INIU or Anker - my latest INIU has a charge percentage display, and it kept us going for 3 days camping, charging two Samsung phones each day. Decent small Anker charger thrown in and you'll be sorted.

I have this:

https://www.amazon.co.uk/dp/B0CP8L9RSY?ref=ppx_yo2ov_dt_b_fed_asin_title

Which works as both a charger and a power bank. It includes various different plugs - when I was in Nepal the sockets were those that used the plug bottom left of the pic (I believe that is called ‘type c’).
It’s a very handy bit of kit when you're travelling.

its worth noting there are pretty tight limits on how big a power bank you can travel with. best to check with your airlines

I just use various Anker batteries from Amazon along with a fast charger.

Outside of towns electricity is likely to be erratic and low power from hydro or solar. Big batteries take a long time to charge out there, I always minimise the amount of things I need power for. It's nowhere near as patchy as it was, but depending on how rural you get you might find it wanting. Or you could go and be in fairly lux accommodation every night!

If I was taking a bike I'd take one that doesn't need power if at all possible.
