Big hills? I wish! I do live at 0m elevation!

From my doorstep I can see up the driveway, down the cul-de-sac and the lights from the local footy oval (that's AFL not soccer)

((and yes, I know it's not called soccer, but it is here as footy is AFL))

Front doorstep just late 1950 semi's full of people on computers in their box rooms, wfh.

Now from the back step: Werneth Low straight ahead.
To the left Cheshire plains, Stockport, Manchester.
To the right moors near Glossop and Stalybridge.

tthew - we can see Fidders Ferry from the garden, didn't know the chimneys were coming down. Makes sense though now no longer in use.

Just over the neighbours roof I can see the Aspley Woods, home of the Longslade Trail and Woburn jump park.
It may have been an influencing factor in buying this house!

Out front to the North a section of badly cut council grass, first time this year (think Maroune Feiliani gets his hair cut with a knife and fork by a blindfolded and drunk chimpanzee)

Out back I can see best part of the Angel of the North and the hills I ride in, always the hills beckoning like a siren....
