Been wearing Caterpillars for the last few years but i fancy a change. something like german para boots or something......any recommendations?
Budget?
dunno really, just whatever they cost, don't buy boots that often so it doesn't matter

Lovely boots to wear, very light and comfortable, I use Scarpa HS12 waterproofing cream on them which helps keep the uppers supple as well the water out. I'll be getting a pair of the tan desert issue ones next year as well.
You wear those Oakley boots in public? 😯
i wear trickers.
fantastic boots that will last you ages and ages.
cost a bit tho.
A lot of the time, yeah. Under a pair of jeans or combats they're just a pair of black boots. Less obvious than a ****off pair of CATs or hiking boots. Why, you have a problem with black leather boots or something?
No, not at all, I have a few pairs of boots myself, one in black leather. Just nothing a SWAT team would wear 😉
Just got a pair of DM occupational safety boots for work. Same old classic design. The non-slip soles are amazingly effective. Comfy too, once worn in!
Would recommend them.
