You don't need to be an 'investor' to invest in Singletrack: 6 days left: 95% of target - Find out more
Just watching a bbc2 doc about totp 94. There was some footage of a band I don't recognise at all. They were a "rock" band, pretty scruffy, long hair, safety goggles, lipstick a bit like heath ledger's Joker. Logo was a grinning smiley face with cross bones behind. Lead singer had a sepultura sticker on his guitar.
Any ideas?
rick astley band trying a new direction

s'wat i immediately thought of too.
Fat Boy Slim used this, but I doubt it’s him. Struggling to think who it might be after all this time.

@aide has it! I knew it wouldn't take long for STW to crack it. Nice one 👍
Probably
Preferred 'I wanna go where the people go'. Fun song though
Thanks, we were pondering the same thing.

Well, it's Saturday night. . .
I swear I had a Wildhearts CD single that had that dotting paper or what ever it's called with the imprinted instructions for it to be used to grow weed - could have been for we wanna go where the people go as I definitely remember having that but thought I had two, anyway...
I actually saw the wildhearts at a Leeds festival probably around 2002ish. In a tent in the afternoon, can't remember who was on the main stage at the time, but ginger was getting the crowd to shout "shut the f*CK up" as loud as possible. They weren't exactly my cup of tea, but it was a good show!
love them, was going to see them again this month but....you know..... another hiatus an' all that....
100% the Wildhearts. Absolute genius band.
Ah look at Danny showing off there with his 2 legs
