Maybe it's my age but just lately I've been planning rides almost entirely around Cafe stops.
Today I've made sure I've done just the right amount of riding to arrive at Beerburrum absolutely needing a large coffee and a caramel slice.
Looking at the counter display is almost as pleasant as eating it to be honest.

All rides are based on the cafe stop! What kind of fool doesn't do that? (Skinny ones, obviously)
There's an excellent FB group called "Cycle Coffee & Cake Stops" which lists cyclist friendly/recommended cafes. It has an excellent map that I've used when visiting new parts of the country. I believe you can overlay a Strava route on the map to find the local cafes.

Yep, v useful but, from my recent experience, not perfect ...
Berries in Wrenbury is excellent for cyclists, The Old Fire Station in Malpas less suitable.
from my recent experience, not perfect …
It's all based on rider recommendations so post on the FB and see if they'll remove it.
Might have just been having a bad day of course
Spoilt for choice around Dunblane and Stirling!
James's Artisan Coffee outside Dunblane
Mhor Bread in Callander (incredible cakes)
Ciao in Bridge of Allan (perfect dark roast Italian espresso as a pick-me-up before the Sherrifmuir climb)
Rhubarb and Lime in Kippen
Braco Coffee for a Turmeric latte
Cafe’s? Pfft! What’s the pork pie and sausage roll selection like? This is a Saturday morning 12 mile loop down the valley that takes in the butchers in Hassy half way, to partake of their pies and fill the camelback with bacon sausage and black pudding for Sunday morning breaky
And obviously all rides end at the pub. Them’s the rules! This was a very nice spot in Scotlandshire at last summers Duncfest
