A mate came across a load of these strewn about today.

What are they?
In a field? I wonder if they are off farming equipment like a seed drill? Complete guess...
Bits off an electric fence?
Alien anal probes.
This is all I have "Out for a walk this morning and came across a shedload of these just scattered around a field. Must have been about a hundred of them. Anyone know what they are? I picked one up so if they're depleted uranium or something I could do with knowing about it."
Metal or plastic?
Has a Boeing flown over recently?
Centre left phalanges.
3D printed mechanical mushrooms
Stickle-turbocharger-bricks
Litter is what they are now, filthy bast****. Probably some kind of packing spacers?
Crop circle rotivator impellers.
Any sewage works nearby?
Could be the media from a filter bed.
Here you go
So yeah, not uranium but covered in poo.
Are you some sort of poo geek 😯 those look too obscure an item for someone to recognize off the bat.

Some people do work in the sewage/sewerage industry. I did for some years.

Uranus then?

My old job involved cruising around the sewage works of the south east filling up bottles with poo.
Tbh it was an ace job most of the time 🙂
Where exactly did your mate come across them ?
Might be worth reporting as flytipping ?
Phil, can't be from cake/sludge spreading could they?
Thrunge gaskets.

Known in the industry as a turd nerd.
Yep - that's them. Logo's the same.
I'm asking him how they could have ended up there now.
And recommending that he wash his hands.
Sewage workers are one of the few when offered to have their cake and eat it politely refuse
Phil, can’t be from cake/sludge spreading could they?
My sewage process knowledge is sketchy these days but no it shouldn’t really be possible. The sludge is settled out before it goes through the filter beds I think. And the filter beds have liquid effluent dripped through the media, which should always just remain in the bed.
Someone will know & explain it better than me though. It was about 15 years ago now that I used to do it.
I’m asking him how they could have ended up there now.
Where’s the nearest sewage works?
Was there a flood in the field?
Sewage leaked got into river and when waters receded they left these behind?
Would they make it intact through the gubbins of a muck spreader?
Update: "These were just in a field and there wasn't a conspicuous pile or lake of effluent nearby so I'm none the wiser how they got there."
So here ends the thread.
