See this rugby league aggro compilation - some brutal shoulder barges on display.

Lot of respect for RL and the mighty athletes that play it, but don't care for these sort of charges, and the song and dance that the players make after them. Reminiscent of the posturing macho BS you see in American football. Is it actually legal to do this to the ball carrier? What's wrong with a good old-fashioned tackle?
