Can you use a basic android tablet like a Hudl 2 for basic word processing / spreadsheet work?
I'm guessing you just need some sort of bluetooth keyboard? Can you import excel / word format files into one of the free apps like google sheets / docs ?

All of the above. Works pretty well. There a few office apps or Google docs. Easy to sync to the cloud and home pc too.
