…choice on SP!  Not come across this brand before so wondering what they’re like. There’s a huge selection on there and think I need help narrowing down which collection to look at.

Not after anything too rigid, shall mainly be used for gentle rolling hill walks with the occasional Scottish mountain once or twice a year. Good support for problem feet a must.

Cant really help but like you Ive seen these and they look really well made with some nice details and features. Similarly looking for a good leather pair of trail boots.

I have three pairs of Bestard boots now...  As you say, not much out there regarding reviews or UK stockists and ordering boots on-line can be hit and miss for fit, but took a punt on some of the Breithorn Pro GTX a few years ago and been very impressed.  Since then bought a couple of more pairs of the low and mid-travel boots.  All full leather - quality-wise they're on a par with my wife's Hanwag's.  Prices do seem to have crept since I purchased mine, but you're still getting good materials and a European made boot at a decent price at SP.

Sizing is consistent, and what I normally wear for hiking boots, with plenty of room in the toe box and neither too narrow or wide.  I did swap out the insole for a superfeet but I do this on most of my boots anyway.
