Am I the only person who watches it for snapshots of Moab trails?
That's whale rock on Captain Ahab!
Some intelligent speculation on season 3
I stopped watching half way through season 2 because it was not making sense st all. Unfortunately i returned to give it another go ... total Lost-like nonsense and ending.
I won’t even bother starting season 3
it was not making sense st all
It's nonsense for sure, but it's beautifully made and acted nonsense.
Watching West:word after certainly helped keep me interested, not sure it's a good thing to almost require you to watch an explanation program to understand all that's going on though! They also seemed to cram a load in to the final extended episode, felt shoe-horned at times to wrap certain things up, could have balanced some other episodes better instead. The Ghost Nation episode was a highlight for me to.
Oh and did Jonathan Nolan bug/amuse anyone else on West:word, he really didn't seem to want to be there or give a crap - I couldn't decide if he was a dick or not...
With a few exceptions Season 2 has been pretty dire. Portentous rambling nonsense with the odd bit of extreme violence and T&A to make the cable audience think they're watching something edgy. I'm working myself up to tackle the final stretched episode because I do feel I need to see it out in case it does actually end up going anywhere.
It's just entertainment at the end of the day and for that it worked for me.

Make sure you watch the post-credits scene. That shows what happens to William after he gets out of the elevator.
West:Word was pretty woeful. Trying to explain away the storyline with intermittent pipeline stories via a couple of guests who only really knew slightly more than those who were watching the programme...
I watched 3 in total, and dismissed the rest on the grounds of it not being relevant to the programme.
West:word certainly needed a fair bit of fast-forwarding and the format was a bit weird but was def worth watching to keep up-to-speed with things. I never believed any of the 'celebrity' guest worked stuff out though, pretty sure they were fed information - or I'm just thicker that I thought.
Well I finally caught up and watched the final episode and all I can say is I won't be watching series 3. Very disappointing :-/
I liked the Eden world that some of the hosts passed into. Made me think of Silicon Heaven.
There's no silicon heaven.
