Every time a page loads. Yes I’ve tried clicking accept quite a few times....
Perhaps Pyou Pshould Psubscribe
Pwhat Phe Psaid.
PI Pdon’t Pknow Pwhat Pyou Pmean
Pppppppppprt 🤪
It's p****D me off enough that I am going to do some work.
Hopefully it will be gone when I come back later today....
It won't go away unless you pay for a P. It's the way the net is going, live with ads or pay for the site directly. The current situation has brought it all into sharp focus so these permission screens are the result.
Have to admit though that when I get logged out and see what non-P'ers see it is a bit of a shock!
Hhhmmm I don't have a P yet I've not seen that page - yet???

what’s that next to the OP’s name?
I had that screen once. Clicked accept and haven't seen it again.
I am not gifted in the P-ness department.

Maybe he's just P'd himself?
but my old works email address is in my profile which when I try and change it keeps reverting back. So am not subscribing until that is fixed ( I did try notifying admin but nothing happened)
Good luck with that - I've been trying to get mine changed for years, gave up after the fourth attempt.

Show me the ads then, but don't fill half my screen with nagging !!

Indeed. It’s a good way for them to get more subscribers.
Pi (don't see ads on any website on the) hole. I also P'd this site coz y'know - respect an' all init...

Again it’s the way the web is now as GDPR says they have to.
Again it’s the way the web is now as GDPR says they have to.
It has to be enormous, displayed on every page, whether or not I click "Accept"?
I am not gifted in the P-ness department.
ChaPeau
It has to stand out here’s literally thousands of sites that put it right in your face, yes it’s annoying but they have to meet the GDP rules.

Cobblers - no sites that I visit put it on every single page load - whether in your face or not - you click accept and it goes away - if not for good then long enough for you to browse in comfort.
Same here, but only on my ipad - every. single. bloody. page. Even ones you’ve already visited like the overview page.
Phone and pc are as normal.
Again it’s the way the web is now as GDPR says they have to.
The issue wasn’t the size, it was the fact it popped up every time a page loaded. On iPad, phone was fine.
Anyway, it’s gone now that I’ve joined the elite.
I come across countless sites (mainly American) that make it very easy to click 'Accept All' but no option to deny them unless you click though about 50 pages then they give you a list of 50+ sliders you ave to click individually. The worst are the ones that let you deny the cookies but then put a really annoying floating box begging you to reconsider on the page making it unusable. Some sites I used to visit regularly I no longer use because of this.
STW have a simple system for GDPR conformity: click accept or deny. Exactly how it should be. It even remembers my choice for a while (can't log in on the work computer) so if you're getting constant nagging clear your cookies and start afresh.
Like I said above, it's the way the net is heading: adverts or pay up. If a site makes it hard for you to read it's content just don't go on that site, they will then change to keep views up.
If it's appearing on every page load that's obviously not by design. Please read the last two posts from Mark on the forum announcements sticky for what it is and what to do about it (and those of you having email issues also). Spoiler: it's not creating threads that anyone who can do anything about it won't read.

Oh, and,
This isn't another Safari being fruity with STW thing is it? Try a different browser.
