It's alright, no-one cares anyway 🙂
I do, bleeding disgrace frankly, if everyone else in the public sector is is having to endure 20% or more cuts and those bloodsucking parasites are actually getting even more for doing very little it stinks.
Personally I find it impossible to justify at any time, but now???? Its a joke.
First against the wall, come the revolution.
Yes conrade, I'll be there with my tumbril
It's only 0.6% more than last year, but 26% less than 3 years ago, so actually all a bit of a storm in a teacup.
What with inflation etc, everyone's cost of living has gone up, so (obviously) it's also going to cost more to 'run' the Royal family.
They still need food, light, heating, transport, clothes.
Same as everybody else.
...but isn't the whole point of them that they set an example for us prols to look up to????
more for doing very little
Out of interest, is there anyone in your family who's around the age of 86?
How much work do they do?
Berm Bandit + 1
Parasites the lot of them.

If they had to endure the National Health they may no be so spritly.
but isn't the whole point of them that they set an example for us prols to look up to
No
Although I think reducing their costs by 25% over 3 years is a pretty good example, if you're looking for one

Nope most of the people in my family have life chances that are substantially different from the Royals.I can't imagine why but they seem to die younger...... perhaps its the actual work that they do.

No
Ah, so theres no point to them at all then?? I'd often presumed as much but wasn't sure. could never beleive that we wasted that amount of money on them for no reason, but apparently we do.
£32.3m per year is sweet FA in terms of public spending.
They probably spend more than that on bog paper for the Commons.
What's that in actual money out my pocket? A few pence a year maybe?
Bargain.
For example, the National Audit Office said that we spent £850 billion on the bank crises in 2009.That would equate to a £26,562 and fifty pence spend by every taxpayer in the UK.

Royal family costs each taxpayer 69p a year

Priorities, people...
I would quiet happily take 30p from every person in the UK if you think that it would be possible. As a pay off i'll happily attend openings and the like especially if there's free grub about. I promise not to claim dole or strike or even claim a pension.
It's not like you'd miss 30p.
