Oh god, my tool envy has begun again. No idea what I'd use it for but I want one.

Funnily enough....
Actually I make stuff in some exotic hardwoods which for most of the time you cant thickness because of the interlocking grain structure means any attempt causes it to rip out rather than leave a smoothish finish. The only real machine that can dimension timber like that is a drum sander, hence.
Plus its been a hard winter, the pandemic etc etc, and I felt I needed some pricey retail therapy.
good for you
How much did you get it for?
I do a bit of vac bagged glue lamination. I'd do a bit more if I could sand up my own constructional veneer.
I got it for 900 saving £150 on the outlet price, and 460 on the new price though it is effectively new. Its a customer return, so seen next to no work.
Their outlet is notorious for their pitiful counter offers, and in the past ive put an offer in and they've countered but knocking off an extra tenner or something ridiculously low ball.
More often than not they accept so little in difference to their listed price its not worth bothering even to put an offer in.
As far as im concerned this is a new machine so im happy with what I got it for.

I bought one of those a number of years back, the bagpress system, but to be honest I've yet to find a use for it. It's a good thing to have in my inventory, and I'm sure at some point in the future I'll find some lamination to use it on. I do like curvy things.
I've always been of the opinion that its good to have something and not use it that often, then to want for it and get frustrated in not having it.
I have just linked two of your personas Dyna-ti
