I like seeing the Transformers badges on cars.

But they're universally seen on crap cars. I can't see decepticons wanting to disguise themselves as a 15 year old Vauxhall Zafira...

I've got nothing but a Type 5 Supply Ukraine/**** PTN sticker on the back of mine.

Needing to spend money on new ‘UK’ stickers to take the car to Europe, when it already had a perfectly functional GB one (as well as number plates with the GB that now needs covering) is weird.

Another Brexit bonus!

I've just bought some stickers from amazon for £4 to cover the GB bits on the number plate with UK ones so I dont need a sticker on my car*. Always used a magnetic GB/UK sticker any way so I could take it off when I got home.

*Technically you do still need a sticker if you're driving in Spain....

Each to their own. I've got one functional sticker, middle-top of rear window so I can perfectly centre my suction bike rack when attaching it to the roof. It just so happens to be an Aussie flag, celebrating my car's country of origin.

Those stick people family stickers on the back of people carriers/vans? Best I saw was on a modified T5 on a campsite a couple of years ago. Dad was solo camping with his 2 kids. The stick figure 'mum' was conspicuously missing from the sticker...

And I've seen a van locally with this one, already mentioned but the fishing community seems to have some really strange individuals:

Best one I saw was a Robson & Jerome sticker in the back window of a car I was behind at some traffic lights. We all started pissing our selves laughing and pointing at it.

The driver in the car in front must have seen this and pointed it out to her husband who proceeded to turn around and profess his innocence, pointing at his wife and saying it wasn't his!! 🤣

I've got an old race plate from SSUK and a CTBM sticker "I used to be Punk once" on the back of the Berlingo, does that count.

Those Fake Taxi stickers appear to be everywhere, there was a car near where we used to live one. I did wonder if it was a fan or performer...

Our car stickers include a dog-ugly UK sticker (grumble grumble GB on plate grumble) and a Rowes Honda engine house.

Saw a little yellow susuki swift the other week in Coleford with "I'm speeding because I need a POO!" on a sticker on the back.

@Houns
Gussied up, lowered, tinted, alloys, loud exhaust driving into Phillipines a couple of years back, girlfriend in the passenger seat. version of your sticker with "2 in the pink, 1 in the stink".

Would it be funnier if the owner had no idea about the link to porn? 😀

I think some people are oblivious to the porn thing and just think it's funny because they ferry their kids around all the time... bit like those "Mum's /Dad's Taxi" squares people used to hang in the rear window on the way to the school run.

We did a job for a guy and his small business. He sold some sort of remedy for all sorts of ailments. Seemed a bit like…

I agree with Alpin in that

I think some people are oblivious to the porn thing

Saw a 'I'm not gay but £20 is £20' sticker recently which had me scratching my head a bit. Apparantly it is a bit of a meme.....

Just in case you were wondering what it’s running under the bonnet!  The Fast and the Furious has a lot to answer for!

Oh yeah, that reminds me. The lad next door to us has, "I'm not drunk, I'm avoiding pot holes" on his boot lid. I do wonder if he gets breathalysed routinely because of it. I suppose I could ask, but none of them are very communicative.

2 in the pink, 1 in the stink

AKA The Shocker. Its a bit of a jap scene meme along with the Shoshinsha Mark (green/yellow arrow), tow point arrows etc. Never seen it actually spelled out mind.

That's not power, that's trim. And one above base spec at that. Christ knows what the thought process was behind that. Under bonnet shopping list goes on the bottom of the door.

I’m not drunk, I’m avoiding pot holes

To be fair, if you lived where I lived you may consider one of them as well. Anything lower than a 60 profile tyre is, well, tiring.

'Monkey tennis?' on the back of an old Peugeot used to make me smile when I saw it.

This is a bit more than a sticker but you have to wonder why?

A wrap company near us wrapped an old Porsche Cayenne in raspberry chrome and replaced the Porsche lettering (in the same font) with
“Pussy Magnet” Tastelessness To the Max.

There used to be a motorhome parked in Shettleston that had 'Adventure before dimentia' stickered on the back of it. Very tempted to add 'but not before dyslexia'!

Other notable mentions a Nissan Micra emblazoned with Take That stickers, including their signatures.
Also a car with a web address sticker on the boot that was something like 'totalperfection.com' it was put on squint, oh the ironing!

Right author, wrong book.
It was Gordon Way in The Long Dark Teatime Of The Soul IIRC

I worked with a guy who put on some mod parts manufacturer's names on his doors like he was a sponsored driver. The only downsides were it was the works van, had no modifications, and we worked in heating.

I think the earlier poster had this eventually passed the Rain God (who I'm pretty sure is on the same campsite as us) in So long and thanks for all the fish.

Gordon Way was Dirk Gently's Holistic Detective Agency and I think he had a Mercedes.

Long Dark Teatime of the Soul - exploding check in desk, annoyed eagle with roundels, Norse gods and a hot potato (don't pick it up) and guest car was Kate's 2CV.

Edit: I am the most appalling geek! 😂

So long and thanks for all the fish.

I've just looked for my copy, being a sad git.
It's missing. I'm more annoyed about this than I should be.

I do wonder what those who don't understand think a simple "HOPE" sticker refers to 😂

There was another I remember on the back of a Corvette when they were rare imports in the '80s which said "Lock up your Daughters, I'm back in Town"

By the end of most Friday nights you would see it will Daughters crossed out and something else written in marker pen. One night there were several crossing outs in various colours which went something like

"Lock up your Daughters, I'm back in Town"
"Lock up your Mothers, I'm back in Town"
"Lock up your Pets, I'm back in Town"
"Lock up your Cakes, I'm back in Town"

Mentioned it before but I thought "one wife livid" on a landy was an amusing twist.

Next STW sticker freebie - in packs of 10 for most posters on here to cover their whole fleets. 🙂

Needs a more inclusive equivalent too clearly.

There was a report in a mag in the 90s, I think, that the Hope van had been turned away from a B&B because the owners thought they were Christians. I 'hope' it doesn't happen to you! 😀

(Obviously, Hope might mean something rude that I'm not aware of, but lets guess that it's the MTB component manufacturers. )

I am always baffled by the Transporters - Campers In Disguise stickers on vans that are obviously campers. The ones with windows all round, a pop-top and usually a tow bar mounted bike carrier. Hardly "in disguise".

Once saw a sticker that said 'Fat people are harder to kidnap' in the back window of an old Transit. Wasn't sure if that was based on past experience, or if he was advocating obesity as a defence mechanism against abduction.
