this is a weird one !
On Sunday morning went down stairs fed the cat made tea, out of nowhwhere weird muscle twinge/spasm/pinch in left bicep (in the middle of arm) it went as quickly as it came, no pain before or after.
NEVER HAD IT BEFORE
I have been thinking about it in my normal paranoia state !
I think I must have slept on that side = trapped nerve ?
Warning sign of something serious = Yesterday I asked the pharmacist next to my work he laughed and said it was nothing !
Now 3 days since it happened so I guess trapped something ? And I should stop being the usual paranoid person I am !
You'd just fed the cat?
It can only be one thing then....
Ah I fell for that but it really wasn't cat aids !
Is it like an electric shock across your bicep? I get that from time to time and have done for years, still alive.
Lack of certain minerals can cause twinges...but then so can cramp 😆
Most impressive twinge was a mates left bicep at work....turned out to be his vein pulsating so hard because his blood pressure was absolutely through the roof he was on the verge of a cardiac arrest.....and I am being serious.......we sent him straight to the docs and he was on meds within the hour!
Well I don't have high blood pressure !
Electric shock not sure it was like that, maybe it was but it was so quick. Felt like it was inside the bicep...
I thought it was heart related but thank goodness I'm very wrong !
Flaperon, I get that electric like twinge across my tricep when I do pressups and I begin to tire. Really strange sensation.
Just done some googling on yahoo. Might be a fasciculation. Google it (on yahoo).
fasciculation
Fascinating...sounds more like I had a muscle spasm or cat aids
I had an operation on my neck 3 years ago to remove a cyst, about a 4" incision to get the thing out, all went fine and long since healed up.
But, the feeling has not fully come back in that side of my neck, they said it would take a long time, and might not ever (makes wet shaving a bit dicey), and I also get a strange muscle spasm/twinge, it sort of flickers, and feels like my neck is trying to pull my head down towards my shoulder on the left. I have to make a conscious effort to pull against it to make it go away!
Now that's a strange sensation.
Sounds like mememe syndrome.
