I need to sleep again, but since this popped in my head, i can't stop looking for it and I keep hitting a dead end.
We got shown this short film at school, there were two kids in a house, about 14 years old, and when they turned on the TV there was a woman staring back at them, black background, she was made to look like she was staring through TV interference or something and she was crying.
Pretty sure she was meant to be a ghost or something. At the end, they turned on the TV and all three of them were staring back......and that's all I really remember.
It does sound like i'm making it up, but I'm sure the 80's were full of crap like this only designed to scar your dreams for life
