There next weekend with work. Been before with my wife and we did the touristy stuff

This time would lke to get out into the country and either hike / bike for both days. I would have to hire a bike if that is an option.

Will have a car so happy to drive up to 2 hours if need be (less is better)

Anyone got any recommendations?

Thanks

Damn, was about to suggest you head up the coast to Skegness, or even Mablethorpe

You should head up to New Hampshire if you want hiking and biking, maybe go climb Mt Washington as that's not too far away and is suitably touristy that you can't get lost.

If you're in Boston or the suburbs then make sure you go to Mikes Pastries ( http://www.mikespastry.com/) and also make sure you hit RF O Sullivans ( http://www.rf-osullivan.com/) both well worth the trip of a weekend for nom.

Should be spectacular leaf changing colours in that neck of the woods at the moment.

Mount Washington is amazing, a must do if you can make it.
Would love to go back to Boston, best city I've visited in US.
