Looking to head to the Alps for a week skiing at either of the two weeks above. Not booking it now as we plan just to wait until the week before and see what offers are available. I do need to book the leave off work now though.

So which is going to be cheaper and will there be much in it? Last week of Feb is outside half terms isn't it!?

Thanks

The last week of February is zones B and C school holidays in France but the first week of March is only zone B. The last week of February will be the busiest week of the season.

Ahh I wasn't aware of that. Well that's another reason to avoid France! We were hoping Austria if there are ap good deals about!

First week of March is traditionally one of the cheapest weeks and one of my favourite times to go with good likelihood of decent snow and some sunshine.

Solden/Obergurgl is a good bet for March.
