I was on the 490m zip wire at Adrenalin Quarry in Cornwall a couple of years ago.

It's goes at 40mph (as opposed to 30mph at Eden Project) and it was one of the most boring things I have ever done. It felt so slow.

The gokarting was awesome though 🙂

Is that longer than the one they tried to do in the lakes?

I loaned my Garmin to a friend doing the Fantasticable. It measured her at just over 100Km/h so about 60 mph?

30mph suddenly seems not so exciting…

There's a series of them on Whistler mountain - maybe not pure adrenaline rushes - but the scenery is stunning 🙂

The zipwire at Aberfoyle Go Ape is over 400m long, 150 feet above the ground and over a 90 foot waterfall.

Its ace!! The view is amazing! 😀

However: as we found out... they won't let you force your mate to do it in a mankini. Chance of rope burns apparently. But they will let you force him to do it in a wedding dress. Just so you know.

Watch for news of a 60mph one at the Celtic Manor.

You heard it here first!

Toby1, I've done those.

Scared the living **** out of me.

I've a pretty strong fear of heights (and falling from great ones....) but peer pressure is a bugger!

One of the guides said they had a guy who got a gps speed of 55mph on the longest line, I've no reason not to believe her!
