Evening all. A relative is looking to tie the knot next year and Derby is near as dam it mid way for the guests. Anybody have any suggestions for a venue. All in (ceremony, reception and night 'do') would be preferred. Somewhere that doesn't cost the earth would be ideal.
Many thanks.

Priest house hotel, Castle Donnington.

I'm getting hitched there in November.

Makeney Hall, between belper and Derby on the A6. Been to two lovely weddings at this venue.

Also shottle hall also a very good venue at reasonable Sunday rates.

I got married at Makeney Hall near Duffield
Sister in law at Shottle so would recommend both
Donington Park Farmhouse Hotel (ceremony in a big old barn, reception meal in the old pigstys)
Coopers Arms in Weston on Trent

We thought Priest House very expensive and didn't really want endless electricity pylons in our pictures (pylons are my job)

...and a band for the evening - Midnight Pumpkin Trucks

My brother got hitched at a council building, maybe the town hall (10 years ago so a bit foggy) and then on to bass brewery museum- it was a great do

Try Morley Hayes or Breadsall Priory

Try googling wedding fairs in derby - might be a link to exhibitors that would give you a list?
