Hi all,

As title mentioned, finally caved in yesterday and got myself one of these BBQ's on offer.

What accessories do people use with theirs they would recommend, either Weber brand or another?

Cheers,

P

Official gloves, tongs and chimney starter here. The rest of our kit comprises other brands because Weber acccessories IMO are massively overpriced.

We only got the mitt and chimney, you can make do with any decent mitt, but the chimney is definitely worth getting, makes starting the BBQ so much easier and quicker.

Old, tall biscuit tin does the job just as well.

Otherwise, two sets of tongs (one old pair for the charcoal, one for food) and a decent flipper. I use these,

Chimney starter, the Weber is the best I've used. Woodwool fire lighters. Welders gloves, cheap as chips from Screwfix and better than any BBQ mitt. Probe thermometer such as a thermapen for grilling or a leave in thermo for proper lid on bbq. My favourite upgrade is a replacement cast iron grill by Craycort, Amazon sell them. The results from using a cast iron grill over the standard steel one are amazing. Honestly it's a real game changer, better than restaurant quality steaks!

Chimney starter and I like their briquettes.

Hope you went for the smalller one. The big one always leaves me feeling guilty as I stack up the chimney. Roasted  a joint this evening on mine. But I should have gone smaller.

Great kit, as is the fire pit. That’s a better accessory.

As a lover of BBQs and gagets- I got one of these...

Really good actually - tiny, no wires, and tells you meat and BBQ temp!

Not cheap, but great bit of kit!

A large BBQ is capable of holding a small amount of charcoal, it's not compulsory to fill it.
