My other half started a small business designing and making wedding cakes in 2010 which took off better than expected and is now ticking over fairly smoothly.. (including taking cake designer of 2012 at the westcountry wedding awards last night.. 8) )

Much of her work comes through the internet and until now we have been using Vista for her web page and stationary.. it's kind of ok because she regularly needs to update the site herself and the cheap/free matching stationary is ideal.. but as we all know Vista is a bit crap and we cannot possibly take another glitch or error that leads to an unprofessional finish on the site..

what would the STW hive mind recommend as our best course of action for finding a satisfactory self-editing web solution for an award winning cake designer..?

we're looking for reasonable costs due to the small size of the business and something that could produce a site with a similar feel and design to the present Vista site..

any ideas folks..?

Wordpress is the good old favourite, any decent host will have an interface for installing wordpress.
