Gentlemen. Tell me about sheds. We need to get one for our new house (weeeeeee!) for gardening and bike tools to go into, as well as Mr Toast's dead tyre collection. This will free up more space in the utility room for our bikes.
So, any recommendations? Anything to avoid or to be wary of? We still want something fairly secure, because you never know when dead tyre theives might be about. Preferably fairly roomy too, so Mr Toast can work on the bikes when the weather's crap, possibly whilst wearing some sort of dead tyre garland.
I got one from tigersheds.com, depending on where your NEW HOUSE is youm ay be within there delivery area. They have a massive choice of styles annd constructions so even if you can't get it from them you could get some good ideas.
Get the biggest one you can without obviously filling your garden with it.
In our last house, we had a pretty large shed - not sure of the actual dimensions, but would guess at 7-8' wide and 8-10' deep.
With 3 bikes, gardening stuff & 2 shelving units (plastic ones from Argos - highly recommended), it was just about the right size that you weren't having to take everything out to get to the one thing you needed.
Oh, and congrats on the new house!

Cheers 😀
Thing that makes it slightly awkward is that our garden is a bit triangular, narrowing towards the back. Might end up with a little patch of unused garden behind the shed, although I could carry on the noble family tradition of storing broken terracotta and old plant pots around the back of stuff....
Build your own shed. A triangular one.
