Been using a pair of Altura attack 3/4 for last few years but they have died tbh they did the job well, I got some Altura shorts last year they didn’t last long at all.

What’s the recommended ones currently? Want to get ready for those wet soggy autumn rides! Need them in small 30” waist as spotted a few but only in large or extra large...

Recently got these from a PSA - Madison 3/4 lengths at half price.
Great fit/cut and excellent waterproofing. Lifetime warranty too.

Size S will be good for 30" waist. I'm 31"ish and smalls were just a bit too wee and mediums are almost too big.

Free returns too

Just used some Endura MTR Waterproof Baggy Short in anger for the first time this week in the Lake Distict, really impressed by them, bead well, not clammy at all and waterproof.
