Does anyone have a tried and trusted recommendation for a waterproof phone cover (for an iPhone 5s)?
We'd like to take some pictures of Junior enjoying the water on Holiday. However, is using an iPhone asking for trouble or are these cases 100% waterproof?
Cheers,
Paul
I've been using Lifeproof cases since the iPhone 4S. Used down to 6ft in a swimming pool quite happily with no leaks.
lifeproof, but there are a lot of fakes about.
Lifeproof - quite simply the best.
My old 5 went through the wash in one.
Mattbee's has been through the wash.
My 6 regularly gets used on the beach in the water with no issues.
If it's just for the pool, I have a couple of Aquapac cases which have never failed me (cue failure next time I use it).
Dumb question time! With the Lifeproof Fre, does the touchscreen still work under water?
aloksak for me. mil std rated blah blah.... you can google for yourself.
Yes - it uses the interior face of the screen.
The nuud isn't quite the same
Avoid otterboxes, gives a fair amount of impact protection, but the plastic screen protector is rubbish, and is pretty bulky.
I ended up ripping it out a puttin a glass protector on, but that does nothing for water resistance.
I'll look at the Lifeproof when I upgrade the phone in October.
