That was me filling up my camping shower and container! Queuing for water, queuing for a piss, queuing for chips, should be renamed queue fest!! 🙂

which festival?

V fest at Weston park. A good weekend to be fair bar the poor lad who died 😐

Wrightyson, I saw a piece about that in the Daily Fail. Typical Fail 'Shock! Horror!' headline, and more than a little misleading.
Headline: “10 held over murder of reveller at V Festival” Then it says; “Detectives have launched a murder investigation after a man was beaten to death at a house party close to the V music festival”
It seems around 20 people had been at the festival and were staying at the house opposite the festival site.
Not really a murder at the festival after all, but the Fail never lets the facts get in the way of a good provocative headline. 🙄
Still a bloody shame for the poor soul who died, though. 🙁

Count that was the festival down south, that was a shocker because from what I can gather he was basically beaten to death!? There was also a lad who died up at Weston where we were, just found in his tent. Obviously don't know the lad but reported as a 22 year old. What a crying shame for his family, must be utterly devastated to have lost a son in those circumstances. 😐

A shower? At a festival? Nah, you need to live in your own filth for a full weekend for the true festival feel.

And being a bloke means you don't need to queue for a pee...

Showing my age now but I did a few festivals in the 90's and as breadcrumb said, shower = wetwipes and toilets = carpark/anywhere/bottle if you're in the pit.

Shower was for the mrs who never used it as it didn't warm up. However she had mastered the art of pissing "like a man" by Monday morning. 😯
