Any pubs or cafes showing the tour in the city centre?

That what I was going to do, watch the i-pad in the pub, but I wondered if there anywhere it might have it on screens, y'know, for a bit of atmosphere

Just make sure you don't injure yourself, yeah? 😉

Ha, can you tell I'm at a bit of a loose end? 😀

Weather is perfect and I'm cooped up with the worlds hottest encased arm

B*llox. I'd come and meet you for a pint but I'm under orders to go home and do some packing for moving house tomorrow.

Doubt anywhere is showing the tour though. That horse has bolted and it's back to cyclist-hating normality now.

Ah, not to worry. I'll save it for the highlights. Might have a quick mince round the Jazz Festival instead.

Good luck with the move!

Jazz festival? Where is that just so I can avoid it. I bet half of Chorlton are there in their flat caps and neatly trimmed beards.

showing it in my work down on quay street (thanks to, well, me having control over the Sky boxes we have in the comms room so the tv in the staff restaurant shows what I want it to show!)

Yea, I'm not a big fan of jazz. But Albert Square is looking lovely. Right, it's 4pm - time for a beer.

xherbivorex - you work in Walkabout and I claim my £5.

The Jazz festival hub is in Albert square but be warned - their Thwaites themed beer is £5.50 a pint !!!!

I've not found a full on trendy-cyclist cafe yet but it's probably a matter of time until someone does one

Their 'normal' beer was £3.80 a pint, which I guess isn't ridiculous in the grand scheme of things....

I was yanking your chain about Walkabout 😀
