We live close to the edge of town, and it's only a cuple of gardens away to a piece of woodland full of rabbits.

A little rabbit, not a tiny baby, but not an adult, has managed to find its way from the woods and has taken up residence in our garden. We don't have a dog, but all the homes around us have one. I'm guessing this we fellow can smell them and is too spooked to leave our place. We are well fenced, and the only exit is out on to the road, where it probably would feel very exposed. Seems to like hiding under the beech hedge or the very small gap under the shed.

It's nibblng away at a few of the plants, so not starving, but clearly in the wrong place.

For those of you who may have more knowledge of such matters would one of these do the trick?

Trap it in that then march off to the woods and release it near one of the warrens that are all over the place there?

Any bait that might be irresiable to it?

If you can stop it going under the shed, and encourage it away from the hedge with a stick, rabbits aren't actually that hard to catch manually. Wild ones that aren't used to being handled might be a bit more flighty, but it if you can corner it you'll get it.
