Last year I had a pair of Endura MT500 Spray shorts fail at 11 months old. The seam tape came adrift meaning they were no longer waterproof. The replacement pair have failed in exactly the same way after about 10 months.
Is the warranty likely to have ended 12 months after the original purchase date or would it have reset on replacement?
Warranty is from original purchase date
As above, though I'd contact Endura, in my experience they'll sort you out.
I got 3 replacement jackets over a five year period from original purchase date (when I paid 50% of RRP in a sale) after various issues every year or 18 months on a well used jacket.
The last 2 I sent in for repair expecting to pay and just received a new one in return gratis.
Some of the stitching on a cuff has gone now but I'm embarrassed to send it in in case I get another new one.
The tape on my MT500 Spray shorts has come adrift. I don't think they'll warranty them though as they are almost 5 years old 😄
Depends on the manufacturer. Eg, Shimano don't warranty replace brakes. They refund the shop, who then buy a replacement, so it's a new 12 month warranty.

Wrong on 3 counts IME . Shimano do send out replacement brakes for warranty. Even if they didn't and the shop gave the customer a new set of brakes the warranty is still from the original date of purchase and it's a 24 month warranty on Shimano brakes ..
Just going on what the local shop told me, that they were credited & had to order a replacement.
Good to know it's 24 months though as I think the transfer port seal has gone in the other one and they are 13 months old.
