I stacked it a few weeks ago (somewhat embarrassingly) and damaged my wrist. I thought it was sprained but after almost a month I'm now concerned that I may have a slight fracture. I can ride on it but bodyweight exercises really aren't comfortable.

I rode today and sessioned a part of a local trail that I usually have trouble with. A few runs down and I finally nailed it.

So back up I went, aiming for a PB.

It turns out that I hadn't nailed it quite as well as I hoped. Cue a tree, an off and another (different) injured wrist. Seemingly in the same manner.

What are the odds? I've been riding for many years and not once injured a wrist. Maybe that's the problem, advancing years and all that.

So I guess a trip to A&E is necessary for peace of mind. Apparently they're very quiet now as people are avoiding them, so I can but hope.

Caveat - if the hospital are in any way overwhelmed then I'll just head home and take it like a trooper.

Thanks for reading, STW. Please shed a tear and then have a beer. That's my plan for the evening.

How did you miss the tree? Perhaps an eye test is in order?

I took a separate ride earlier in the day to check that my eyes were working.

Maybe OP doesn't have time to go to Castle Barnard.
