I've managed to loose my jacket so need a new one. No idea what to get but want something super warm, my old snowboard one nevercwas warm enough. Not keen on spending alot, rather buy shiny stuff for the bike!
Any ideas? Superdry stuff looks ok, but can't figure out which the thick one is. The 'arctic' one is just lightweight apparently

Swedish army winter jacket or field jacket.
Those Fox Sasquatch hoodies fit the bill perfectly. I think they're all gone though
Superdry stuff is grossly overpriced, it's all fashion with no real technical capabilities. And which one are you talking about? Thick one? They do loads, many military inspired, based on US Army parkas, etc.
Same with Urban Outfitters, they have some 'bomber jackets' MA-1 style made by Alpha Industries, who also make full milspec jackets; these have NASA flight patches embroidered on, and cost £200. I have a couple of genuine Nomex Fire-resistant flying jackets, bought from eBay for $80 each. The winter spec one is incredibly warm, and great to wear, especially considering what I paid for it.
You'd do as well to look at their range, find a style you like, then scour the Internet for something similar for a lot less.
I begrudge spending lots of money for some 'street-style' jacket with a camo pattern on when I can buy better made ex-military for a heck of a lot less.
Same goes for lots of other stuff like denim, technical outdoor clothing, etc.
Carhartt do some nice parka style winter jackets that are extreme warm, water/wind resistant and robust. Quite often they dump last seasons stuff at half price on the website. Got one of the goosedown parkas last year. Don't ever need anything more than a single layer underneath.
TK Max or Decathlon
I went to an outlet centre a few weeks ago and The White Stuff and Fatface shops had some really cheap jackets which were actually quite nice (imo). Costs around £30 as against full retail of £80.
