Struggling. The mrs and boy have bailed. And if the boy bails it must be bad as he'd watch paint dry to avoid going to bed...
Saw it a while ago. After all the West End fuss, I figured it would be worth watching. Er, no.
Well, it's a Speilberg film...
what a load of shit that film is. Watched it at the cinema. Dozed off. Looked at my wife, she was dozing off too. We left.
SO that's two films we've walked out of ever. That crap and 'The BodyGuard'.
Should of been called Borehorse zzz
About an hour too long being generous.
Well dear daughter who stuck it out with me looks mighty annoyed that she stayed up to watch it and will be gotten up at 7 as she hasn't got her bag ready for school!
Saw a bit of it, the acting was shocking. And to be fair, a film about a horse in the war was always going to be a bit shit.
Wife said could you record it?
Sure I said but you have seen it before.
She then watched the first couple of minutes & said "Oh yes we had it from Lovefilm, I think I fell asleep after 1/2 hour"
The stage show's entirely there as window dressing for the horse puppetry, which to be fair is bloody amazing. But everything else is absolute dross.
I suppose I don't get it... Was there some terrible shortage of stories of wartime heroism that meant we had to start making up completely ridiculous ones? It's like an episode of eastenders with a war in.
Regeneration is starting now. This is a WW1 film well worth watching
nope, ditsworthy warren, dartmoor.
No it defiantly reminds me of Spylaw as I've seen been there dozens of times, I've never been to Ditsworthy.
I saw the first and last couple of minutes. That was enough.
Top Gear on iplayer was a better bet..
My son lasted about 10 mins. "Boooring". He loved the Guy Martin hovercraft thing though. Kept him off youtube for an hour!
Its a film of a childrens book.
The book's not bad, mainly because its short.
That film couldn't decide what it wanted to be.
watched the film last night - didn't like it.
But the play - That is one of the best pieces of theatre I have ever seen.
I can not reccomend it enough.
The horses & the goose were just incredible
Saw the show in London and thought it was good.

+1 and when the tank arrived.
Only saw the film of the stage show and it was stunning.

Also, the "star" of the film bit my finger. Bloody prima donna wannabe celebrity.
The film really is utter bobbins though. There are worse films for sure, but I can't think of many that are such a waste of talent and effort by all involved
