I'm looking for a recepticle to bath my BMX frame in. I ordered an Ikea under bed box but it's a bit small - the dimensions stated were external not internal. Any ideas for alternatives 780x560x160mm?

I use an inflatable paddling pool for soaking brazing flux out of steel frames.

What’s wrong with the one in your bathroom?

Can it have a shower instead?

I hadn't actually considered using an actual bath. It needs to be in for 24 hours so might be inconvienient and I'm not sure about the by products of the reaction with oxalic acid?

I'll get down the builders' merchants at the weekend and hopefully find something. Thanks, chaps.

Plenty of baths in skips . As a local plumber / bathroom fitter , I'm sure they'll happily point you in the right direction to find one .

Maybe something like one of those preformed pond liners from a garden centre would be suitable.

Different acid, but it’s still worth watching the first season of Breaking Bad to figure out how not to do it 🤪

Plywood. Make a shallow box.  Pond liner or plastic.  Make sure animals can't drink it. Done.
