Here is a bit of fun for a Saturday morning. I have a canvas where I have completed the backdrop but have not yet decided on the foreground embellishment.
The pictures show the canvas either way up and then two (poor) sketches of possible enhancements. One is an army stood on a hill looking down into the valley with the city below. The other is an old church reflected in the lake.
Please download the untouched canvas, make your embellishment and upload the results. No prizes or anything but might trigger some ideas.

Might suggest giving a link to a straight and cropped version of the ‘untouched canvas’. People more inclined to have fun if you make it easy for them 😉

Not sure how to make it easier than Right Click an copy
Here's one I straightened using the perspective transform in The Gimp:
Simple to rotate the image 180 degrees if the other way up is desired.
Thanks. Makes it easy for Sunday Art Fun
Nice one sirromj!
I call this ‘The Sorcerer’s Sleeves’ or ‘Awesome Sorce’ - and I dedicate this work to Andy Dwyer, April Ludgate, & Ron Swanson, all of you have helped me (and indeed continue to help me) navigate through some particularly difficult times.
