It's a lion, on a wall of death and he's probably bricking it.

Does that help ?

what you can't see, just out of shot to the left, is an antelope in a side-car

I've had that pic as the wallpaper on my work pc for ages

I'd love to have been a fly on the wall for the conversation

"Look I know we've been doing the wall of death for a while and I think the acts getting a bit stale. Now I've had an idea......."

My grandfather was a wall of death rider in a circus. Well, between being a gigolo and a pilot.

Said he'd given up the exciting jobs for something safer oddly... So then he drove trains for a living but managed to get shot by a German (only wounded) for running away from a train the RAF were shooting up.

This post is rather Big Dummyesque in it's surrealism 😀

I like the way he's got his missus to drive the lion around...

I believe the chap in the photo may be legendary Wall of Death rider Horace Parker. At that time (1930's?) Walls of Death were fairly common and Horace decided to to get a bit more adventurous and plonked a lion cub on the handlebars. it all worked well enough and drew the crowds in, but the lion grew up and stopped being a cub making it just a tad too big to fit on the handlebars. Hence the sidecar.
Cool? well, yes, BUT apparently there was another Wall of Death ridden by monkeys - the Monkeydrome. I have no reliable sources for this, but the thought still cracks me up.

If I was going to ride Whites Level with a Lion in a sidecar, what tyres should I use?

... and then it crashes and some burning ostriches and penguins start catherine wheeling out. And then all IWH's stuff miraculously falls out of the burning side car or something like that...

Why is it that every idea I ever come up with has already been done before? 🙁
