My daughter wants some for Christmas, which is fine by me.
There are loads for £25-40 out there...any tips for the best ones that’ll be worth having?
So far something with Motorola on it seems the best bet.

Avoid the kiddie ones. I got a set for £35, Binatone, from Argos IIRC. Had them years now and have been great on campsites and seem to work over a fair distance.

Any of the Motorola ones are great.

Motorola ones here. Work brilliantly. Had cheap(er) ones, but these work really well. Perfect for camping.
Until that is, your at a crowded bar with aforementioned walkie talkie clipped to belt, & s****ing children make loud fart sound.

I’ve a pair of Boafeng cheapies off eBay, they work brilliantly, and we use them for work day in day out. Come with little recharge stations to charge them back up again.

These are the ones we use.

Yeah, just been looking for rechargeable ones. Can’t be arsed with buying batteries.
These look ok I think... https://www.argos.co.uk/product/6223537

Much better with the rechargeables in them. The Binatones look good.
