I just discovered that a long press of the button on the front of  my Android phone searches the Chrone web page and produces a list of clickable search results.

Has this been around forever and I've only just stumbled across it? Am I now officially past it?

Yep been there a while, along with various long presses of aps to get context specific open (podcast player has a few choices, go straight to compose email in outlook etc)

Double click of the main button on a Samsung for the camera locked or unlocked. Excellent.

Discovered this embarrassingly recently.

30 seconds in the microwave makes your phone waterproof too.

I have been an android user for about 8 years and only discovered the following a few weeks ago...

Double tap the right menu button (square) to quickly toggle between the two most recently used apps. Very useful when filling in forms, checking addresses, sending details in messages etc.

Tap and hold the right menu button to allow split screen use between different apps. Particularly useful if you want to keep doing things on other apps whilst watching a video on Youtube,
