There seems to be a huge variety in the prices of these.
The link below shows all four and mounting bolts for £46.90. Euro Car Parts offer just a single link for £53.40.
They are for a Passat with a 140k, common sense and thrift say go the ebay route. Will I die?

I thinks the Euro ones are more or less the original VW part , eBay are Chinese pattern.
You won't die you'll just get what you pay for.
