...'cos they're such a pain in the head.
That constant noise could, potentially, drive a person to kill!
Don't mind them, or even this being the millionth thread on the subject. I find i just tune them out after a while.
They've been around for yonks in cricket games. Though as i won't be watching any football they don't bother me
I barely even notice them just background noise like a motorway. Besides a South African lass made a great point this morning on radio. "How would you like to hold the World Cup and be told you can't sing" I think there great.
{No, sorry, that's not acceptable - Mod} Sorry was going to remove it anyway

At last! I hope they get this sorted by Friday
More worryingly though:
Please no!England fans in the UK appear to be heeding his call; Sainsbury's sold 22,000 red vuvuzelas – or "Vu Vu horns" as it brands them – in 12 hours before England's game – one every two seconds. The supermarket chain has ordered 25,000 extra horns but thinks it may run out before Friday's game against Algeria.
^^^^
Poor taste 🙁
Sounds like a million bees farting in unison
I want one.
Sounds like a million bees farting in unison
The union?
ive got mine
Apparently they can't ban them now even if they wanted to, until after the stage 1 group games - because it would be an unfair advantage to those who now didn't have to play with them being used.
Apologies if the topic's been done already.
I rarely read newspapers, I ain't on here everyday, and I've only watched about 120 minutes of the tournament in total, inc. highlights.
However that noise really does grate - so irritating.
So, anyone blowing one around here is getting it right effing up 'em!
*EDIT* - much like the chap above
Failing that, earplugs are the way forward.
Noise cancelling headphones?
For once I agree with Sepp Blatter. We shouldn't try and Europeanise (!!) an African tournament.
