Just had an email from them (can't remember when and why I signed up) trumpeting their new product:

"The perfect commuter backpack?

We think so, the Laptop Commuter Backpack has everything that you need and nothing that you don't."

Except that for £150 I'd need it to be fully waterproof, which I know from experience cordura isn't. And I'd need it to be about half the price. Who buys this stuff??

a bit like howies, finisterre etc, they all have regular 50% off sales that bring them down to reasonable prices...

no way are they the new Rapha, the cut/designs are very simple and more aimed at tubby commuters.

Money cannot buy class.

Rapha wearers are usually conclusive proof of that.

Vulpine doesn't IMHO go after the same market as Rapha - it was always about stuff for commuting in that worked off the bike as well.
As a brand its probably more interesting for its noticeable focus on women's clothing rather than exclusively men's products.
