Just got their latest mail shot. Really puzzled by it. Firstly if they are trying to pitch themselves as credible players in on-line music then why oh why have they singed up Alesha Dixon to front up their marketing?

Secondly, why are they trying to get into on-line music sales? A Vodafone music store? Why? If you're listening to music on your phone then you've probably got a smart phone and probably already buy music from apple, or amazon, or stream from napster or spotify or any number of other content providers. It's probably just an outsourced re-braded effort anyway but why bother?

I guess I can't figure out why vodafone are trying to provide all manner of content when specialist providers do it so much better. It annoys me as I'd rather they put their efforts into providing me with good phone coverage and improved data speeds.

Because you're not their target market

why are they trying to get into on-line music sales

Because they think they can make money from it. Many people are lazy and if their spangly new phone is connected to Vodafone's music shop by default, many will use it because it's easy.

You don't really understand business, do you? 😉

jesus, kick a bloke why don't you ?

Blobby's been nowhere since Edmonds dropped him - imagine the hit to his self-esteem. Few tentative steps back, WAY better use of language than in his heyday and yet look what happens.

Merciless

Ok, forget credible. Is there anyone out there who doesn't find her vacuous and irritating?

The horror!

Are these real fans? I suspect it's all written by Alesha herself. This quote, supposedly by Alesha, fills me with a feeling of dread...

"I feel like there is nothing I couldn't do if I put my mind to it."

Wish it was blocked here too. Can't quite believe what I've just witnessed.

Hmm shame you have to register to ask Alesha a question.
