You don't need to be an 'investor' to invest in Singletrack: 6 days left: 95% of target - Find out more
It had slipped my mind that today is VJ Day, 80 years ago my dad was finally liberated from Changi Goal in Singapore. He was a Leading Aircraftsman in 1938, as ground crew.
I know a lot about the conditions he and his fellow captives suffered, as a lot has been written, but understandably he never told me much, as I was 13 when he died, apart from telling me about the Gurkha guards around the camp, and the ‘trophies’ they decorated the barbed wire with that weren’t there the evening before…
Bless you dad, we never had enough time together.

My grandad was involved and his brother but we don't know a lot.
My daughter was the main animator for this short film done for the Imperial War Museum. Well proud of her work and the teams. This was released today
We went to the preview at IWM North this Morning. Talented bunch of 'students'

We've got some contacts there after today, so are going to try and find out more about my grandad's posting - he never talked about it.
