No.1 stepdaughter has a Vauxhall Vivaro 2.1CDTi which has recently had a few problems (engine needs replacing for 1). Unfortunately, the battery has gone flat as a pancake and the doors are locked so she can no longer open it.
When using the key in the driver's door the lock just spins and doesn't actually do anything. There are no other locks on any of the doors and the battery is under the passenger seat so she needs to get the door open to put it on charge.
Does anyone have any suggestions (short of breaking a window) as to how she can get the van open to put the battery on charge?

Nothing on the passenger side. Mine's the latest model and has one each side. Any AA/RAC cover ?

Has it got a towbar? If so you might be able to find a permanent live and trickle charge it via the 13pin socket.
Or with out how to get the bonnet open (sure to be many people who have asked how to get in after snapping the cable. Although the battery is under the seat I expect the jump start points are under the bonnet.Â
PS Don't break a window, AA or similar will be able to get in
Cheers @spooky_b329, unfortunately no towbar fitted or corresponding electrics. I did suggest possibly getting the bonnet open somehow but I'm hoping she will find it easier to just pop out the indicator repeater like in the YouTube video posted by cyclistm.

The trick I've heard of in the past is to get a jumper cable / charger onto the positive feed to the starter motor, often reachable from underneath. You can then get the negative lead onto a handy bit of engine block / chassis.
Although the battery is under the seat I expect the jump start points are under the bonnet.Â
