Since Sunday I've felt exhausted, no strength, just want to sleep. Joints are sore. It even hurts to just walk about. But oddly I don't feel sick, or any other symptoms (maybe a slight sore throat).

The other half is saying it might be a virus. But I don't know anyone else who I work or socialise with having anything similar. So just wondering if this sounds familiar to anyone else on here.

Hmmm. I'm not a doctor, but I think some press ups would cure that.

Drop and gimme twenty.

Stomach cramps, diahorrea, sore muscles and joints, hot and cold flushes, headache, nausea (but no actual vomiting).
Like you I've found any movement painful and very tiring.
As my landlady has also got something similar I'm guessing it's something like Gastroenteritis.

On the plus side I've lost a lot of weight 🙂

im no doctor either but I've just about got over a nasty flu that started of like that. after a few days of what you describe, then it when into what can only be described as the most bunged up I've ever been. i felt like my head was filled with quick drying cement/couldn't unblock for 48 hours. sore back and joints and then an eventually after over a week of feeling like a zombie it slowly buggered off... hideous stuff, good luck!

Same here, no stomach symptoms. Just total malaise, sore joints (fingers, toes, knees and ankles) and also sore teeth. it's always the sign for me that a cold's on the way.

That was Saturday. Since Sunday have been snotting for England.

Complete lack of any zest. Not exactly want to sleep, not really sore, but just walking about is hard slog - slothful - and as for going for a spin - forget it!!

Either a case of CBA and man up, or under the weather. Not ill enough to retire to bed though.

There's certainly some sort of viral thing about. I had several days off about three weeks or so ago, ached all over, really tired, felt nauseous but not actually sick, and since then I've felt generally pretty achey, especially today, my knees, and my left one always hurts, have been really uncomfortable and my wrists and back, on one side, where I pulled a muscle years ago, have all been rather painful, despite necking ibuprofen all day. Meh 😐

Since last week its been coughing & gunk on my chest keeping me awake at nights, feeling really run down & tired, aching joints, loss of appetite, vomiting & now the squits.
Lovely. Not ill enough to be off work but rough enough that each day seems 5yrs long.

I had this from Saturday to today, started with muscle aches, ended with the $hits, luckily I could work from home. Paracetamol sorted out the muscle aches.

Yep. Got home last night, went straight to bed. Cold sweats, aches etc. Slept for about 12 hours. Woke up feeling kinda ok. A few hours later and I feel like poo again.

This was me. I still have pressurised ears.

I spoke to a GP and she said antibiotics wont do it. Just fluids and rest.

Edit- Beaten to it by bregante!

My left eye is infected as it was blood red in the white part since Saturday out of the sudden. The inflammation is slowly subsiding but there seem to be a thin layer of whatever that is blurring my view. I am using Btolene eye drop at the moment. Was told it was an eye infection ...

Its virus and i have just got over it. Exactly the same symptoms as you plus pharangytis and takes about 6 days to pass. Its rife in our part of leeds, daughters school had 23 off on the same day from just 2 classes and i know a lot more parents who currently have it. Paracetamol and rest and that is all you can do.

I'm not turning into a big soft girly boy then. Same here last week. In Leeds too. Must have got too close to one of my children.

Fed up of it now. The squits appear to have dried up but ive still got gunk on my chest, which is making me cough so hard I throw up.
Haven't slept properly for 3 or 4 days now & I can't keep food down.

OK it's been 2 weeks now. This morning I woke up with a temperature, my nose is streaming, shivering like mad and am aching all over.

I need to be put down don't I?
