Just got a new hub fitted in my bedroom. Everytime i try to connect, a box flashes straight up saying cant connect. Ive connected to right network and put the correct password in, but every time i try to connect using MacBook, or iPhone same box comes up.
I can still connect to downstairs network tho so don't know what's going wrong. thought i would ask on here before i spend an hour trying to ring virgin.
Two separate connections? Or two routers on the same connection?
This is probably of no relevance or help whatsoever but via tenuous link I bring you the fact I couldn’t connect to Virgin trains WiFi with my MacBook yesterday.
Is the new hub set up with the same password as the downstairs one? I don't think it cascades through, you need to set it.
