Wife has decided this is what she's after for her (40th) birthday, I've got three weeks on Friday! Thinking she's swinging to more vintage than say a 5yr old omega. Unfortunately Burlington arcade just isn't an option as I'm up in derby so I need somewhere web based and reputable or somewhere within maybe an hour or so from here!

Fellows Auctions based in Birmingham jewellery quarter might have something. Theres a watch auction today I believe. Catalougue should be online. You can bid via telephone or web.

Some great men's watches in that auction. That post could have been a mistake!

There must be 100 shops in the Jewellery Quarter based around Vyse St in Birmingham which will have a selection of good old watches, and will probably smarten up the one you choose.

I find them to be pretty trustworthy, as that is the most important commodity they have.
