Looking through the garage I found this old camping stove. From the writing it could be German. It has Gesetzlich Geschützt No 1167 stamped on it. A quick Google and I couldn't find anything similar. Anyone seen one before?
It is only small, L135mm x W45mm x H33mm when folded down and 60mm high when folded out.

No but I like that
Like a bastsrd love child of a hexy and trianger
Only problem is you need a pan with a long handle to balance it. Couldn't balance your cup on there to make a coffee!
Gesetzlich Geschützt No 1167 is the patent number - google translate is a wonderful thing 🙂
Never thought to use the Google translate. Cheers.
Was hoping it would be the manufacturer. No other details written on it apart from that.
I had a quick search on google patents, but no luck, the number should be unique to whichever patent office issued the patent. I had a look on the german one, but couldn't work out how to search, or even if they have the facility to search online.
Defo sure it is a "camping stove?"....... Looks like it could be medical..... Maybe used for heating up/sterilising long medical/dental instruments..... Any family members got a medical background?
No family medical background. I think my dad got it 2nd hand years ago and thought it was a camping stove so gave it to me. So that's what I thought it was. Never really thought of medical. It's just been sat in the garage for years.
But that looks similar design.
Cheers guys
Never really thought of medical.
the complete kit would come with bottle of bourbon, a belt and a stick to bite on.
Hair tong warmer I reckon...I think I saw one once on Flog it or similar. You could cook sausages on it one end at a time
I don't see why you couldn't use that to cook on. I mean, what's the wurst that could happen?
Amost right there - it's actually a special stove for grilling Volkswagen Currywurst: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Volkswagen_currywurst
