I've got a Canon eos550d and I fancy some better video editing software.

Can anyone recommend anything?

Only thing I hear mentioned a lot is Sony Vegas so I'm on the verge of going for that. Where's the best place to buy, I've been looking on t'amazon. Anybody know of any good offers on at the mo?

Has this been done more than a 'what tyres' thread?

Well I bought Photoshop Elements and Premier Elements in a bundle for £75.. that seemed excellent value. Premiere is good, but I've not used much else.

Cheers Conqueror I've been looking for something good on ubuntu, will give that a whirl!

I've heard good things about After Effects.

There are free demo's on Sony Vegas on their website, I've been playing with it the last few days.

Annoyingly, the £30 one is all I need, but the one click upload to youtube thing is on the £60 one. Not paying £60!

I'm using Photoshop Premier Elements. About £50 off Amazon. There's a free download on the Adobe site if you want a play.

Fast and reliable so far.
