Looking for a place to learn techniques for Premiere CS5, starting to get the hang of it, latest video below:

Is there a forum that's similar to this one for video editing?

I can't answer your question (sorry) but I can give you some advice. Even the most basic of video editing software can give good results if the footage is good. You've got some great head cam footage there but the finished film would benefit from some different types of shot. Can we have a Director's cut?

I remember the first skiing video I ever made years ago. I filmed loads with me skiing and holding the camera. I thought it was ace, but most people said it was too difficult to watch. It still has it's place, but now I tend to keep the camera reasonably still and let the action happen in front of it. There's a balance to be found.

There's loads of people on here who make bike videos. I think they could give some great advice on footage and editing that would reap far greater rewards than getting too stuck into the technicalities of what Premiere CS5 can do.

Keep 'em coming...

Thanx for the advice, hard to get still shots, as the footage is from holiday with The Whiteroom, but I will try and get some!

Here's a couple more I helped make from my friends footage..

Criticise away! 😯

Trying to get through the 60gb of footage from the holiday, so I have enough for a few more videos!

Camera's were GoPro HD with chest mount & ContourGPS on the handlebars.
