Happy new year all. We need to replace the front windows on our Victorian semi. One big bay window and one upstairs window. The units at the mo are rubbish early 90's (by mu reckoning) upvc units. We're looking at quality units but I'd love to get the stone cells, mullions etc put back in on the downstairs bay (upstairs still has the stone cill). Anyone done this? Did uou compare the cost of this to just peplacing with plain UPVC? Me and the Mrs are at loggerheads over this. I think it would be worth it, she can't see past the extra cost. We are yet to get any prices so just sounding put opinions/experiences here. Cheers 👍
